Volunteering: It’s fun! It’s rewarding! It’s an amazing experience! And we’re always looking for volunteers to join the team of over 300 people to help out during the Festival and all its events, including the Medieval Banquets, Kids Dig It, Festival set-up, etc.

Internships: We offer internships to those interested in gaining practical experience in an events environment. We currently have a number of vacancies in the areas of marketing, sponsorship, promotions, project management, and general events management. They are a great way to get involved. Abbey House Troupe: The Abbey House Troupe is a group of volunteer actors of varying backgrounds and experience who work together to bring medieval drama to life at Abbeystowe. We are always looking for more players to join, if you are interested in getting involved please complete our application form.

Performers: Street Performers and musicians are an important part of the authentic atmosphere that we are aiming for in Abbeystowe. If you think you’ve got something spectacular to contribute to the event, please apply online or contact our Street Theatre Coordinator to get involved.

Stallholders and food vendors: Stallholders add to the experience of the Abbey Medieval Festival with food, craft demonstrations and their wares. Applications for the 2018 Abbey Medieval Festival have now closed, but please feel free to contact our Stallholder Coordinator with any enquries for the 2019 Festival.
