Re-enactors are at the heart of the authenticity of the Abbey Medieval Festival! Their passion and skill in a range of all things medieval nothing less than incredible!

There’s the 5 tournaments, medieval animals, demonstrations of craftsmanship and cooking, workshops and presentations.

There’s cannons and trebuchets, and a siege at the castle! There’s jugglers and jesters, musicians and performers.

There’s the wonderful hustle of a medieval marketplace that feels like you’ve been transported to another time and place. And if that’s just a taste of what you will experience, then perhaps we should mention the food…a variety of flavour spanning countless cultures and traditions.  Come hungry for it all!

Making the pilgrimage to Abbeystowe, the home of the Abbey Medieval Festival is a chance to step back in time as 1,000 years of history comes to life. It is authentic, inspirational value for the entire family!
