You will find all of the Abbey Museum favourites including archery, archaeological digs and shield painting, with a few new activities to keep kids occupied! Book your tickets and activities today!

Master Classroom: Kids and parents can learn the art of Illumination, Calligraphy, and Needlework.

Archaeological Digs: Much of our knowledge of history comes from what archaeologists have found. See what treasures you can find in our archaeological dig!

Page Training: Find out what life was like for a young boy starting his training to be a Knight. (Of course both boys and girls are welcome!)

Artisans Workshop: Get all arty by decorating a shield $4, poppet (wooden doll) $2, or torque (headband).

Archery: Did you know that in the thirteenth century, a law was passed stating that all men between the ages 15-60 were required to have their own bow and arrows? Daily practice was also a necessity.  How are your bow and arrow skills? Find out if your aim is good enough to hit the target! –  $3 per person per session.

Games: Kids and adults have always loved games. Test your skills with games from the middles ages including skittles, quoits, Nine Men’s Morris, and Chess.

The museum will also be full of calming activities like a reading corner, paper crafts, brass rubbings, puzzles and costume dress ups.
