When does the Medieval Tournament start and finish?

Gates open to the public at 8.45am. The first event, a spectacular Grand Parade, begins at 9.45am. The program concludes at 4.30pm with patrons being off site by 5.00pm.

I bought a day ticket, which day can I come to the event?

Once you have purchased your day ticket, you can use it for either the Saturday or the Sunday.

How much does a ticket cost?

What is the age range for a child’s ticket?

A child’s ticket can be purchased for a child between the ages of 5 and 15 years.

What is included in the VIP ticket?

Disability access / pathways on site?

Disability Parking & Shuttle bus available. Although there are no designated pathways around the grounds, the surface is quite wheelchair friendly unless we experience rain in the weeks leading up to the Festival.

What does an entry ticket include (i.e shows etc)

Access to all scheduled activities excluding Jousting and Workshops held by the Re enactment Groups. Festival Tickets do not include entry to the Banquets. The program of workshops held by reenactment groups will be available to view online in June.

Can I buy tickets to the Medieval Festival on the day?

Yes, Medieval Festival tickets can be purchased at the Entry Gates on the Day.

How many people are included in a family ticket to the Medieval Festival?

2 Adults and up to 4 children (aged 5 to 15 years)

Do tickets to the Medieval Festival need to be printed out or can we show them on our phone?

Medieval Festival Tickets MUST be printed out.

Are there any surcharges when purchasing tickets?

Yes, there is a small fee of $2.20 per transaction (not per ticket) with your online purchase and a $3.80 surcharge for transactions done through the Museum Office.

What cards are accepted for the concession price?

Pension, Student, Health Care and Government Seniors Cards. (National Seniors Card is not accepted).

Can I get a refund for my ticket?

It is the policy of the Abbey Medieval Festival that tickets are non-refundable. We do not give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision.  In the event of illness, where a doctor’s certificate is received prior to the event, consideration will be given to a partial refund.

Can I exchange my tickets?

Please choose carefully as tickets are unable to be exchanged. If you no longer want them, we suggest selling them to a friend, or posting on the Abbey Medieval Festival Facebook page – https://www.facebook.com/abbeytournament.

I purchased the wrong ticket – what do I do?

If you purchased the wrong ticket or are no longer able to attend, your only option is to try and on-sell your tickets. Under the terms and conditions of purchasing tickets to the Medieval Festival there are no refunds or exchanges. So please choose carefully when purchasing a ticket.
