Parking Alert – Parking at the Abbey!

Unfortunately, the Abbey Medieval Festival has lost one area previously used for parking cars.

While there is still limited parking available on the property we are encouraging our patrons to PARK and RIDE.

In the event of rain, please check your mobile phone for message alerts.

We encourage you to follow any announcements and updates on our Facebook and Event Pages.

PARK and RIDE

The Abbey Museum has secured a property nearby (on Pumicestone Rd) where our patrons can park and we have arranged free buses to transport you on the 5 minute trip to the festival site. (If you’re a local you may know this as the old Farm Fantastic site)

We encourage patrons to go directly to the Pumicestone Rd carpark (just off the highway) and catch the free shuttle bus from there. You will receive your wristbands prior to getting on the bus so on arriving at the Festival you can walk straight in (bag checks will apply).

For ease of directions, you can click the button link below on your phone and it should navigate you from your location to the parking site.

Prams can be transported in the hold under the bus

For GPS Directions, enter

530 Pumicestone Rd, Elimbah

and head to this direction and you’ll see the parking signs just nearby.

We’ve tested all Google Maps and iPhone Maps, and if you’re using Waze it will take you down Clinker road but once you get to the intersection you’ll see where to go.

DISABLED PARKING

Dedicated disabled parking will be available on site at the St Michaels school carkpark. Access off The Abbey Place, heading towards the Museum.

As you near the Museum you will see signage diverting you to the left.

It is 250m from the festival entrance.

Please have your permit on display for access.
